Scorer 1 - Completes the domestic score sheet
Scorer 2 - Completes the running score sheet, and calls to Scorer 1
Timekeeper 1 - Activates umpire alerts, manually times the game, and records quarter and Injury time breaks
Timekeeper 2 - Controls the electronic scoreboard, times the intervals and injury breaks, and holds up injury time paddles
Bench Manager - Oversees the entire Bench, and liaises with event officials and umpires.
Subwriter - Record team substitutions as they occur and hands them to the Bench Manager
For Dunedin Netball we officiate, and train, on the Premier games every Saturday. Full training is given and you can work towards obtaining your Netball South Zone Technical Official qualification.
From there you can achieve your Netball New Zealand National Technical Official accreditation and this can lead to officiating at:
