2024 Season

The Year 7 & 8 competition starts on Thursday 30 May at Edgar Centre.

Weeks:

Grading Round: 30 May, 6 June, 13 June, 20 June, 27 June.

Round Two: 4 July, 25 July, 1 August, 8 August, 15 August.

Finals: 22 August

Game Times: 3.45pm, 4.30pm, 5:15pm & 6:00pm

Game Day Format:

Warm-up: 10 mins total (5 min NetballSmart power warm up, ball drill and bibs)

Game: 4 x 7min quarters (28 mins)

Breaks: 1 min, 3 mins, 1 min

Warm down: 5 mins

Coach Workshops

Coach workshops will be held for any interested coaches.

Dunedin Netball is offering a number of coaching workshops for primary coaches. The aim of these workshops is to provide coaches with the foundational skills needed to deliver quality, age-appropriate coaching sessions.

Umpire Workshops

Dunedin Netball is offering a number of umpire workshops for anyone umpiring year 5-8 netball.

This will be a mixture of classroom-based content and on-court practical umpiring.
