Postponements:

These competitions and programmes have been postponed. More information will follow after government announcements and an update to members will be made on Monday 23 August.

Information to date:

  • Premier/Senior Finals – All games scheduled for this Saturday 21 August are postponed. We are tentatively looking at a reschedule date of Saturday August 28th for SOME Premier and Senior Final games. This will depend on government announcements and a change to at least Alert Level 2 in our region next week. This is also dependent on court and official availability. At this stage we are looking to only play 1v2 and 7v8 games in all Premier and Senior grades with the exception of Senior 4, where 3 key games could be played.
  • Y7&8 Development Tournament Balclutha (22 August) – while an official decision is yet to be made by South Otago Netball Centre, Dunedin Netball have made the decision that teams will not travel to Balclutha this Sunday. We will await a decision on whether a postponement date can be arranged.

Updates to come:

  • Secondary School Finals (28 August) – As semi final games have been cancelled this weekend we are looking at options of holding Secondary School finals in the following format: 1v2, 3v4, 5v6. This will depend on government announcements and a change to at least Alert Level 2 in our region next week. It may not be possible to hold all games for all grades.
  • Y7&8 – Today’s competition is cancelled but the last scheduled round robin games due to be played today may be rescheduled on Thursday 26 August. This will depend on government announcements and a change to at least Alert Level 2 in our region next week.
  • Netball South Year 7 & 8 Primary Schools Festival (24 August) – A decision will be made after the government announcement on Friday on the status of this event.
  • Netball South Year 5 & 6 Primary Schools Festival (25 August) – A decision will be made after the government announcement on Friday on the status of this event.
